Advanced Search Filters

How to use structured filters alongside natural language to narrow down results.

In addition to natural language queries, you can apply structured filters to narrow your search results. Filters work on top of your query — they don't replace it.

Accessing advanced filters

  1. 1

    Run a search

Type a natural language query and press Enter to get initial results.

    Run a search
  2. 2

    Click "Advanced Filters"

Look for the filter icon or "Advanced" button near the search bar. Clicking it expands the filter panel.

    Click "Advanced Filters"
  3. 3

    Apply filters

Set the filters you need (see below). Results update as you apply each filter.

Available filters

  • Location — Filter by city, country, or region.
  • Job title keywords — Require specific words in the candidate's current title.
  • Company — Filter by current or past employer.
  • Experience level — Entry, Mid, Senior, Lead, or Executive.
  • Skills — Require specific skills to be present on the profile.
  • Industry — Filter by the industry the candidate currently works in.

Filters and natural language queries complement each other. Use your query to describe the ideal candidate broadly, then use filters to enforce hard requirements (e.g., must be in London, must have Python in skills).
